Leafs @ Oilers - Feb. 27th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

So is Edmonton exempt from icing?  They have had two or three plays this period where the puck didn?t come near anyone and they have waived it off.

How was that not a penalty on Khaira? He dumped Muzzin right in the net?

Edit: Sorry, it was Archibald that dumped Muzzin.

How did Willy get through such a small hole

Luck, if truth be told.  And Smith has no stick.

I recall a past discussion we had where one of us said there was no such thing as puck luck.

That was a great pass by Vesey lol.

Rather see some youngsters like Robertson back in. Bring more to the table and gain some valuable experience. Unfortunately with the injuries this year we have to see some of these guys in the lineup. Vesey, Engvall and Barabanov don't cut it. Engvall used his size and played a more gritty game worth keeping him but another softie. 6'5" marshmallow.

Good work by the whole PP for keeping pressure on the Oiler D and regaining possession. Good shot by Willy as well. He has to start shooting more. Has a hell of a shot but I said it the other day seems to be passing too much.

Maybe he reads this forum and took your advice

I was looking at some stats and for me shots seem low. He's so talented and has a great shot. He should be the finisher on the 2nd line. Let er rip.

Mikheyev. His speed seems to have greatly improved coming back from that hand injury last year but he needs to start pumping some chances in. Getting a lot of great chances from his speed. They will come.

See this is what I'd like to see on a more nightly basis. Riding guys out, taking the body. They don't need to crush anyone but take them out of the play.

All 4 lines are playing well.

Old man Thornton is an absolute joy of a player to watch.

I wish he hadn?t been stuck out west so I had watched more of him in his prime.

Missed the first period but like what I'm seeing in the second, especially with AM out. Surprised to see Vesey in the lineup.
