Who are we cheering for between Nashville and Phoenix tonight?

Nashville. The odds of us catching Phoenix are very slim anyway.

I noticed when you say MacIntyre really slowly it sounds like Gerber....

Anyone counting on him to roll over and play dead will be sorely disappointed. I expect him to be good enough for the win tonight.

EDit: trying to get the old heart going for the game tonight during the anthem there? :o

I am torn on this one with MacIntyre.

He is playing his heart out for a contract next year unlike some of the Leaf players who seem to not care if the team wins.  I am hoping that he stands on his head and makes incredible saves for the rest of the game as Toronto gets 40+ shots against and Luongo gets a shut out for a 1-0 win for Florida.

Florida may be years away from doing anything, but Barkov+Bjugstad is going to be a very formidable 1-2 duo at center.

I really want to like Drew, a little reboundy but nice rebound right to Kessel. I dunno, he reminds me of a new age Puppa and I'm not sure if that's a good thing but good for him to get to the show as a starter.

Reboundy is an understatement.  He looks like he's got trampolines built into his pads.

Yeah, but we can give a minute or two, he survived the first for the most part and we'll see how it goes. I like the second effort at least.

Funny, capgeek has him at 3 mil career earnings, not bad for a rook...

For the love of God please do not trade Jake*.

* totally knowing that any return Nonis got would be lop-sided for the other team
