Leafs @ Panthers - Jan. 18th, 7:00pm - SNO, TSN 1050

Why are you reversing that play he could have fired it off the boards. Plus Sparks positioning is horrendous way too much movement I know it was deflected but he needs to work on being more passive in the net.

Sparks has the worst positioning in the NHL.  Never seen a goalie lose his post more than Sparks.

Zaitsev and Gardiner have to broken up.  They simply can?t get the puck out of the zone.  Both of them with egregious giveaways on that goal.

Just so bad.

Coaches haven?t figured that out yet.

Florida hems in the Matthews mine because Gardiner can?t control the puck and then coughs it up.

This right here. Zaitsev should have never reversed that puck back, he had time and forwards to go forward with it.

Zaitsev's reverse wasn't great, but Gardiner just coughed it up there.

I feel a bit for Jake there. He wasn't expecting the pass and was hamstrung a bit by being squeezed by the net.  So it was either a back hand up the middle or a turn into the Florida player. Neither great options

He was on his forehand, and had the ring around option. He was looking for a play and looked too long.

This looks like the kind of game where the Leafs have about 20 minutes of play in them and they already used 10.

Wow.  Getting thoroughly dominated by the panthers.  Unreal.

What is the matter this team.  Right back to being awful.
