Leafs @ Penguins - Feb. 18th, 7:00pm - SN, Fan 590

Today is Martin Marincin's Birthday, that might be also the reason he is in tonight.

Hoping for 2018 November Freddie to arrive for this season anytime now. Go Leafs Go!!!

So depressing...3rd 4th SN/CBC game in a row. I'd kill to hear Gord and Ray call this game instead of what's likely to be 60 minutes of inane Millen drivel.

Just had a thought - Liljegren is currently at 7 games.  Is the scratch this game to make sure he doesn't hit 10 games this season? (or does it matter at this point).

I imagine the idea is that they get someone before the deadline and Liljegren will be sent down, but if he played tonight, Thursday and Saturday, that would have burned a year of his deal, no?

Not the case here. Liljegren was 20 heading into this season so his ELC is no longer slide eligible. It did slide for the first 2 years though.

The PP needs to stop being so careless. They've given a lot of those away. Think a lot of it has to do with them being a one-trick-pony on zone entries. Too easy to predict and disrupt.

Those giveaways aren?t out of the ordinary for Andersen.  He plays the puck a lot but has one bad giveaway a game

Why is a team with a 50 goal scorer and a player who is projecting out at over 100 points making me dislike the team.  Why do the hockey gods hate us?

Leafs 4th line has a dominant shift (first of the game for the Leafs maybe) and the refs call a weak penalty on them as the Pens get the puck out. Of course.

Horrible penalty call again. Holl has to stop that pass.

What the hell is wrong with Dermott? He wasn't making terrible turn-over passes like that last year.
