Line-up Notes

TOR
?Bernier will get the start tonight for the Leafs
?Haven't seen an update on Bozak quite yet, so for the time being let's assume he'll play. If not Acrobello obviously slides into the line-up

PIT
?Fleury will likely start for the Penguins
?"It's the same game. I've played a bunch of games, so it's not a big deal" PHIL!
?Crosby is currently pointless in 4 games, just the 3rd time he's had a streak like that in his career. So you can pretty much put your life savings on him getting a point tonight

Injuries

?Stephane Robidas - Old - Out indefinitely
?Tyler Bozak - Lower Body - Questionable Saturday
Code:

?Beau Bennett - Undisclosed - Out indefinitely
?Eric Fehr - Elbow - Injured Reserve
?Pascal Dupuis - Lower Body - Injured Reserve

Just a programming note in case anyone didn't catch it, the Leafs were bumped from CBC tonight in favour of the Detroit-Montreal game, so we'll be on CityTV.

Part of the new 'rebuilding' tv schedule?

Pathetic decision

I'm going to miss that hard-hitting commentary.

Anyone else think Crosby will have a breakout game tonight?

Part of me wants Kessel to go pointless and Leafs win, part of me wants the losses to keep piling up.

That being said I can't control what happens and can't cheer for them to lose, so I'll be cheering the Leafs to win!

Kessel facing his former teammates feels "strange"...

?I have good friends over there and it?s going to be strange,? Kessel said after the morning skate at Consol Energy Center. ?But I?m looking forward to it and just going to try and do my best."

"Obviously, I enjoyed my time in Toronto," he said. "I loved the city. It was time for a change, and you move on."

...has generated a ton of scoring chances during the first four games of the season.

The Penguins have been surprised by his playmaking ability, but coach Mike Johnston is encouraging him to shoot as much as possible.  "He's been really engaging with the coaching staff, he's been good to work with," said Johnston. "He's just trying to learn how we're playing and get used to his line."

That's good as long as it spares us Healy, but surely Kessel's return is a more compelling story for them?

Maybe it was just to be safe in case the Jays game went long? Obviously wouldn't have anybody watching CBC in that case.

i'd rather watch the leafs in punjabi on omni2 than watch the habs and did until i noticed that i get city tv up in north bay. who knew?

edit.. healy is on the city feed. i'm going back to the punjabi station...

Is anyone actually surprised by what's going on tonight?
