That Dorion reaction lmao

Popcorn I think?

Edit you?re right. It?s a bevvie

That?s the kind of reaction I?d expect from a grown man who manages a last place team losing to a first place team.

At 5v5, the Tavares line was on ice for only 4 shot attempts against. Two of them were rebound plays. They had 15 shot attempts the other way, half of which were scoring chances.

And you know Melnyk isn't going to spend money on a cleaning crew, so that box is going to smell like my university dorm house for the rest of the season

Matthews very much bailed out Marner, who both killed a winning chance (pass to Rielly), and then spring Ottawa for a 3v1 against a tired Matthews.

Nylander was just straight up garbage tonight.

It looked like he was turning it around over the last week or two going to the front of the net and danger areas, and tonight he was right back to skating lazy laps around the periphery.

Agree, he was bad tonight. Hope it's a one off.

Jack Campbell on his misplays with the puck tonight:

"I feel bad about those two goals. I don't want to kill the momentum and we played so well and I know those those types of goals just can't go in."

I forgive you little buddy.  Now pack up your gear and we can go for an ice cream cone

We got lucky all I can say. Thought we were going to get trapped.
Game shouldn't even been close if these guys could have buried some and Campbells brain farts.

I think when a team gets 41 shots on goal and only 3 goals...generally its the other team that got lucky

Maybe read my post again. Got lucky on the play could have easily been a 3 on 1. Said the game shouldn?t have been close and meaning Ottawa shouldn?t have even gotten a point.

Unfortunately this is what you get with Willy. He?s a bit of an enigma. Can play great and can disappear. Inconsistent at its finest and quite honestly that won?t change in my opinion that?s why you trade him elsewhere. Dubas? problem is his loyalty to some of these guys. Team won?t go anywhere with that mentality. I still think the makeup of this team isn?t where it needs to be to win a cup. Dubas needs to make some changes and Nylander is one that can be shipped out.

I only watched the 3rd period so I can only comment on that. I though Nylander, Galchenyuk and Tavares looked dangerous. Nylander was the first man back too on every backcheck. From what I watched, I have no issue with his game.

Imagine being called inconsistent and being on track for 30 goals in an 82 game season.

That line crushed it in shot attempts, going 15-4. Galchenyuk's been a very pleasant surprise, he's due for a goal very soon. Not sure if it's enough to stop an impending trade, but I'd definitely bring him back for next season on a cheap deal again.
