5 shots nearly half way through the game against a terrible hockey team.  How does this even happen.

This is an extreme example but they have had several games where they just go dormant for very long stretches.

Happened against the wings too at the beginning of the month. Effort is the only reason. Sometimes they just don?t try.

In the games I've been able to concentrate on it appears the book is to pressure the Leafs at every opportunity. Some bad puck decisions
That works with all teams. Hard  forecheck and pressure the puck carrier. Take away time and space.

The Leafs need 3 goals in 10 minutes to have a chance to win this game. So far in 10 minutes they've taken 1 shot.

Wow another PP. So the Leafs opposition have started gooning it up lately or the refs just magically started to see penalties?

Shoot the damn puck low Matthews.  This is the sorriest effort of the year so far.  And there have been some bad ones.

4 minutes pp and they barely got a shot.

This is why good stretches really feel empty,  because too often they just don?t show up.  Like they can?t be bothered.  10 shots through 2 periods and down 2-0.
