Woll will be our Wall one day soon. Need a complete report on Kivilahme. I have a feeling about this one.Zee said:Yup Nylander!herman said:Did you get a bobblehead
Woll had a great first period Marlies outplayed pretty badly. Shots 15-5 Syracuse but 1-0 Marlies on a nice goal by Kivilahme
Marlies didn't have a great game. Had push at the end but too little too late. Kivilahme had that really nice goal in the first but honestly didn't notice him all that much the rest of the way (at least offensively)Highlander said:Woll will be our Wall one day soon. Ceci's injury/Liljegren's promotion will give Duszak a chance to play with the Marlies again. He has 35 points in 34 games in the ECHL this season. That puts him 3rd overall among defencemen in scoring there, but he's played 14 games less than the defenceman in 1st. Duszak leads all defencemen in points per game though and by a pretty good margin.
I'm thinking it's more serious then that. I don't see a team sending a player home to get his head right for over a month. Maybe a week or two. Either way, I hope all is well and he can progress in his development. Kid def has talent.Highlander said:Ya no one wants to see a young guy with so much potential go off the tracks. Maybe he needed the time to get his head screwed on right.
CarltonTheBear said:I know that he's "technically" a Marlie and been on AHL deals mostly but it's kind of amazing he's one of the current longest serving members of the Leafs organization right now. Been with the Leafs/Marlies for 5 seasons now. One of a handful of players left who played on the 15/16 team. What a seemingly random signing that's worked out for both sides.
