Marlies Talk

Broadcast schedule for the western conference finals stays the same as the last round. LeafsTV will air the away games and RogersTV will air the home ones. All games will also be on AM640.

damn you rogers tv!

InGoal Magazine posted an interview with Ben Scrivens today. They talk about his season up to this point, his mental game, and his unusual stance in net:

There's also links to a two-part interview that the magazine did with Reimer, Scrivens, and Rynnas last year. Those are worth a read too. In that interview Scrivens states that 95% of the reason he signed with the Leafs is because of Allaire and that he actually first started working with him between his junior and senior year of college.

Any word on the banged up Marlies?  Colborne in particular?

Ashton practiced with the team for the first time since suffering his concussion a couple of days ago, so that's encouraging. Rosehill and Colborne were both on the ice yesterday but didn't practice with the team. The playing status for all 3 are still unknown for game 1.

I'm really excited about tonight's game. Let's hope the boys can do this and there will be a working stream for the game!

Oh and just my luck, I move from the UK to California and think yay I will have more access to Leafs stuff since I am in NA, wrong, all the Marlies games in this round are being shown live on tv back in the UK.

Thanks for the link to the Scrivens article Carlton, really enjoyed it.

As for Ashton, after he practiced the other day with the team Eakins was interviewed and said there would be no change in his status as yet. If he has continued over the past day or two he might have been reactivated with tonight in mind.

Not entirely sure how it works, but you can apparently watch the Marlies game through your 360 if you have the Real Sports app.

You get access to LeafsTV, NBA TV and Gol TV.  You need to pay a sub fee and apparently you need to have an Xbox Live Gold membership as well.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if you had to pay a fee or not. Too bad they don't have this for the PS3, I don't have Live.

This is a poor broadcast leafs tv has.
Yeah, I think they are reliant on the feeds from the hosting building through AHL live and the quality control isn't great.  I think most of them just show the jumbotron feed.

Marlies killed two penalties, should be 3-0 up and that could come back to haunt them.

impressed with the marlies in that first period..they have typically been slow to get going in the playoffs so far but they seemed ready to play that first period...i expect that the barons are going to step it out though
