Marlies Talk

3 of 39 : All-time Calder Cup Finals series record of teams trailing 0-2 AHL.com

First time in their last 8 games that the Admirals gave up more than a goal. But 2 goals by the Marlies wasn't enough.

There is only so much that hard work can make up for, it's pretty clear having watched both of the games so far that the difference is that the Admirals have their tops guys out there and the Marlies have Jay Rosehill and Colton Orr. :(

I hope they can make it a series, but I sincerely doubt it unless they get some bodies back from injury.  Even if they do get some guys back, I doubt they will be going at full clip and I really hope they don't rush a guy or a allow a guy to rush himself back with the chance of hurting him seriously.

The only thing going in the Marlies' favour now is that they get 4 days off now.  Hopefully Kadri and Zigomanis will be ready by the next game.

According to this, Zigomanis is getting close

If Ziggy and Kadri are back then they have a chance. The offense was anemic in the first two games.  They would give it a big boost.

that's assuming that they come back at 100% ..but what are the odds of that?

Good for the Marlies.
