Marlies Talk

Looks like Orr has been working on his skating, that last rush wasn't something I've seen much from him.

He's actually had a few good rushes/offensive chances  in these playoffs and skated fairly well when he's got a chance to play. Rosehill is sitting out for Zigomanis (vet rule).

I'm happy to see him getting a chance to play some real hockey for a change.

Marlies must start executing the PP

Don't know why they had Colborne high in the slot. Big body like that should be down in the crease.

Off to OT.

Norfolk carried the play and got the best quality scoring chances. Scrivens neutralized Norfolk's scoring chances to give his club a chance.

Marlies really miss Frattin and Kadri. Marlies team D is playing decently. Their forwards just are not able to generate much. Hopefully, they can score a dirty one.

Marcel Mueller must have pissed in Dallas Eakins coffee a bunch of times this season. To scratch him when they are this offensively stunted seems beyond peculiar.

I'm not sure he's completely healthy ... it would be a no brainer to play him instead of Engel (dman centering 4th line)

Colborne has been in position for a lot of good scoring chances, but could not convert.  Is his hand still injured?

It was cut pretty bad, I'd bet it's still causing problems.

See I assumed this, but the media have all called it a healthy scratch situation and I assume that comes from the club.

i hope scrivens keeps playing the way he has..he's been fantastic..if only he could score goals

It's hard to be sure because the quality of AHL hockey is usually quite inferior (though Norfolk is as good as it gets)  but I'd say from what I've seen that Scrivens has taken his game up a solid notch. Best I've ever seen from him since his arrival in TO and I don't mean just this game.

wow...i can't even really hold anything against him..he's been the only one that's even kept the marlies in these games...but wow...just wow...it just sucks to be a leafs fan
