I agree that he looks like a man on a mission for these games. Yet, he only has 3 more points in the NHL this season than Cody Franson.
That requires some context though. Doughty's low point totals are mainly the result of the team he plays for.
The Kings employ a defensive-minded system that stifles offensive production, and their top players collectively all have lower point totals than they should be capable of.

The Leafs also employ a defensive system. It's more than that. The Kings have a terrible power play. I think that's what is keeping his offensive numbers down.

I think this game is a good example of how big ice can kill the offense in a game. Don't need to be a particularly strong team to have 4-5 guys back all the time, which is all Norway is doing. I know you can do it on smaller ice too, just seems much easier on the bigger ice surface where the pace slows somewhat.
