I'm having some problems with my audio here at home but once I get to work, it's near the top of my list of things to do.

Jimmy Fallon is doing a week of band's covering Pink Floyd.  The Shins did 'Breathe' on the first night.

Oh man. This won't be cheap!

And here's Pearl Jam closing out Fallon's week of Pink Floyd tributes with 'Mother':

Any hip hop fans? If you could buy 1 new album..."Watch the Throne" with Kanye and Jay-z? or Bad meets Evil?

I'd probably lean Bad meets Evil. Both are good albums and I'd recommend both but I think Watch the Throne indulges in both Kanye and Jay-Z's bad habits a little. Bad meets Evil is the sharpest Eminem has sounded in years now that he's finally stopped trying to appeal to 11 year olds with his singles.

So I haven't picked up Throne yet, but Bad Meets Evil is pretty awesome. The first...I guess I'd say 3 tracks are absolutely fantastic. Em is amazing on the first 2 tracks. Don't understand why he doesn't do that more. I got so tired of his stupid accent and singing and crap like that. The guy has some ridiculous mic skills.

I've been listening to The Decemberists, "Castaways and Cutouts".

Wow. I'd heard it before, but never really gave it a serious listen until after I'd played their latest, "The King is Dead" to excess. It's excellent. Very, very impressive.

Picaresque was the one I got into first, The Infanta in particular, great band.

Probably only MF cares, but apparently The Stone Roses have reformed.

Oh, I've been all over that like a fat kid on candy.

I hoped they would never reform, but I'll go see 'em now that the damage has been done.

Suckered in by the power of nostalgia.
