Knows his job is on the line every shift. Hopefully he proves he deserves to stay. Guy's got all the tools to be an effective player.

That's how he played a good part of last season.  You notice his speed since there hasn't been much from others (except Mikheyev).
I would put Engvall in over Vesey any game. Like him better on pk too.
 
If Engvall wanted to, he could have put the shoulder down and just taken the puck to the net instead of wristing an easy stop.
 
It's hard to look at Nylander's intensity so far this season and make an argument that it'd be a great idea for him to move to center.

Or shipped out entirely. New season same old same old. Team needs an overhaul in my opinion. Wednesday sucked and today is not much better. As much as Kapanen and Johnsson had to leave because of Dubas' blunders you can surely see how this team lacks some depth and it all stems with our cap.
 
I don't know why players don't back in a bit more when McDavid barrels down. Also that was a ticky tac call considering what they've been letting go.
