3 goals on 13 shots.  One of them wasn?t a good goal.  Hard to blame Campbell on the other two goals but how many games can the Leafs outchance over and over again and have the inferior goaltending

Figures that one of our few get to play a tired team games turns instead into a well rested opponent
Like Freddie, not making that save and the Leafs continue  giving up prime chances.

Positives:

? Matthews' one-timer looked good
? Nylander aggressive move to goal: more please

Think they should stack the top 2 lines in the 3rd. Put Hyman back on line 1 and move either Kerfoot or Galchenyuk to line 2.

Engvall didn't let in that first goal. Weak goals change games. Leafs were controlling the game, soft goal, tide turns. Still Leafs have given up only 14 shots.

As soon as I praised Muzzin and the team D they both fell apart.

Praise McDraisaitl

Praise Muzzin he's the one that cost us that 3rd goal. Watch the replay. Could have skated around the net on the dump in instead throws it blindly back into the corner to Draisitl. next thing you know it's in our net.

This.  Shorten the bench and send them wave after wave.

Pretty hard to win when you can't score. Leafs seem to be really fighting themselves.... Since, like the last time these two teams played. Pretty brutal 2nd period showing. I don't blame Campbell on any of the GA, the team is doing nothing to help him.

I don?t know what you think I meant but I was shaking my fist at the Engvall curse

Seeing that highlight of the 2nd goal, Campbell was slow reacting to that pass to Leon. Probably didn't matter but he didn't help himself.

Curious, if Freddie was in net would you be saying the same thing?

I was going to post something about that goal. One he could have cheated a bit not sure what shot or angle McDavid had there, 2 Muzzin didn?t help should have taken away the pass and Mikheyev should have skated hard and tried to eliminate Draisitl instead he went to McDavod so team effort there.
