Of course he does.  But expecting him to carry the load night after night is unrealistic.

Granted, the same may be true for Woll, and we know it's true (right now) for Samsonov.  That's really our top problem.

You're absolutely right.

What I don't understand is why the Leafs aren't responding in kind, the refs have shown they won't call it all. I get that stick checking is usually the percentage play, but it's not as hard to play against or as wearing on the opposition.

If you can't beat em, join em, be mean.


It's one of my biggest issues with Keefe, it's all process with little to no situational adjustment. Just a hunch, but I think the team might be getting tired of the same message from the same voice.

All those extra cross-checks the Leafs take must wear on them as the game goes on. Maybe it plays a role in all the blown leads.

Sure but Brodie drifted out and made a half assed effort to get back in front of the net.  Brodie provides zero offense.  His job is 100% defense and he doesn't do it well anymore. 


Rielly deserves blame too but I'm going to cut the guy who scored a goal some slack.  Keefe's unwillingness to demote Brodie so a problem.  I'm sure he'll sit Robertson for another 3 games to teach him a lesson
