Panthers @ Leafs - Mar. 17th, 7:30pm - SNO, TSN 1050

Remember when the 4th line was Colton Orr and Frazer McLaren in the good old days

Ben Smith with the very clean defensive face off win down 5-on-3 to help kill off the first penalty.

Not sure why Grabner elected to shoot when he could've just butted it in.

Ha! Surely he leads the team in unconverted chances in all alone.

Unlike Jason Blake, at least Grabner isn't just blindly firing it into the goalie's crest. If I were him, I'd try to come across more sideways on the break, rather than head on.

I wonder what the future holds for guys like Grabner and Parenteau. Since they could be had for virtually nothing at the TD, and no takers, they'd be lucky to signed somewhere next year at league min...

Parenteau's having a good enough year that someone will sign him to a decent contract. I also wouldn't be surprised if someone takes a gamble on Grabner as a reclamation project. I wouldn't read anything into what happened at the deadline in terms of interest in the summer. Teams just didn't want to give up assets at the deadline this year or they didn't feel they had the need for the type of players Grabs and PA are for the rest of the season. Things are very different in the summer.

Agreed re PAP.

Grabner will find a spot somewhere.  His skating allows him to play a pretty effective role on the PK even though his offense has evaporated.

Is it OK to lust after Ekblad?  In a purely professional sense, mind you.

You and Don MacLean just love Florida's huge backend.

A little junk in the trunk is what made Motown funk.

Downtown Connor Brown! Happy to see CB get his first taste of NHL action. Hopefully Babcock is correct with his predictions, CB had been able to produce at a high level in the OHL and AHL so far. Pretty impressive for a 6th round pick. Plus he's from Toronto!
