Does anyone know the significance of the one Jacket player holding up his hand to his ear after scoring and saying "call me"?

I would of jumped him
The A hole got what he deserved.

I still don't get it, what terrible thing was said or implied by the hand gesture?

All in all though the Leafs have outplayed CBJ. Their goalies have bailed them out.

Definitely. I'm still not wild about how Keefe has coached this series; I think he's set the Leafs up for failure by not adjusting the team's approach to CBJ's unique style.
I don't know how this is on Keefe and not on the players.

Definitely lots of positives and negatives to go around, but Keefe has done an abysmal job of countering a team that does nothing but defend and produce on mistakes. The defence still making risky pinches with a 3-0 lead two games ago was absolutely unexcusable, yet it happened constantly. With wingers that were supposed to cover deep behind the opposition hash marks.

I don't know.. would Babcock have done any better?  Maybe this group of players has trouble remembering what the coaches are telling them (or trying to tell them).
Babcock would still have Goat in the lineup and probably wouldn't be playing Robertson (not that he's made much of an impact, really). Would he have loaded up the "super line" like Keefe did? I don't know, but since it seemed like the players had pretty much given up on Babs, the Leafs probably wouldn't even be in the play-in round if he was still the coach.

My son watch's most of the games with me. I think we would all agree that most games that one player is dogging it and then we turn on our verbal vitriol on the unhearing Leaf. Strange but usually within a minute or two the guy will make a great play or score. Like clockwork.
So last night I said to my son, they are all playing like shit, so let's diss em all: Nylander, Hyman, Tavares, Marner and Rielly had, a diatribe for about half a minute.
Dammit it worked, they all became the superstars they are.  In almost 60 years watching this team, I have never seen anything like it.
Don't care if they win the next one, really I don't. Of course I would be delighted but last night this team showed the character than all said we're lacking.  They didn't give up.  And neither should we.
It was shortly after I called Hyman a passenger that they started scoring, so there's that. Maybe all the griping and criticism in these threads is worth something after all.

Well in all fairness he wasn't a passenger....he was a boat anchor. He looked pretty good on the PK and that but he was flat out terrible in the O zone. Glad he turned it around. He looked like the Hyman were used to in the OT so that bodes well. Nylander looked better also and he needed to pick it up.

That was one of the most butchered calls of an overtime winning goal that I have ever heard. And I lived through a lot of Bob Cole years.

Nylander does basically everything better than Marner. It's interesting.

Matthews has decided to add a physical element to his game out of nowhere. He is an absolute monster now.

Okay, I'll bite, I don't know the significance.

I have no idea either. Just thought that maybe there was a story behind it. Thought maybe he was taking a jab at the Leafs

Gavrikov:  Grandma, I promise I'll call you if I score.

Leafs:  Let's kill him!

Firstly, reading through this entire thread is hilarious. I love/hate you guys.  8)

Secondly, I was at camp all weekend and seriously lost cell service when it was 3-0. I just found out an hour ago that the Leafs somehow won and that there's a game on tonight!! Nice surprise. I shall enjoy watching this game while applying After Bite to my multiple killer mosquito wounds.
