Definitely do not like the way they are playing tonight. Nervous, tentative, not sure but Bruins look better so far.
Neither team looks very good to be honest. I suspect we'll be seeing 88 with 91 and 16 from time to time. As fot the PP. I just think they gotta get a just shoot the puck at the net mindset. Would like to see them every once in a while not do the drop pass. Bruins are sitting back because it's never changed up. You gotta give them something to think about.
Anyway down 1 on a mistake and truth be told Sammy bit too hard on that. Need saves from him...
Let's go boys! Positive vibes

Bruins seem to be playing their game pretty well - controlling the boards, winning lots of battles and not letting the Leafs get near the net. It's boring but effective. They wait for the Leafs to make a mistake and pounce.

If things keep up like this I think they'll have to put all the offensive talent on 2 lines at some point. Right now neither Nylander or Marner appear capable of really driving a line. Understandable with Nylander having been out and Marner probably still feeling effects of the ankle.
88 should have no issues. It wasn't a physical injury.

We don't really know that.

What the hell, Marchand open there, yet we can't get Matthews the same look.

Bad coaching.

This right here. You see that play all across the league right now being executed successfully. Leafs need to find a way to make it happen again.
