It was just too much to get my hopes up. I just don?t know how the Leafs didn?t take more point shots, and I don?t mean Marner from the side into 40 leg?s either
 
Was the game to win. Crappy goals against and TB stars were silent but so were ours. Friedman is 100% correct Hedman isn?t healthy and every chance they get they should be hitting him but nope.
 
I think the Leafs were in it tonight, could have easily been a different result. Boys also got no help from the referees. The blatant trip on Marner and high stick on Knies right at the end stand out.

They still have them on the ropes.

Only done that once this series. We r actually lucky to be up in my opinion. They have to come out from the get go and don?t hold back. They have more talent in my opinion and our depth should be taking over.

Just talking about that with some friends I would put him in. Samsonov reminds me of past Leaf goalies guaranteed softie every game. That 2nd goal was absolutely putrid. Could have closed his eyes and had his stick on the ice and saved it. Brutal  and demoralizing.
 
Bunting in next game for sure. One of the 4th liners out, Bunts up with Matthews and Willy.

I wasn?t happy with their overall performance can?t just turn it on when you?re down but that was the difference. Samsonov.
 
Yeah, I don't feel as bad as I did in the Montreal series.  In that one, I just had this feeling that they were done when they didn't win game 5.  Still this is a pretty bad situation to be in.  Going back to Tampa, the second best home ice team in the League, with their goalie getting on a roll. And if they lose that they come back home with all the baggage they have always had.  I just wish they could have wrapped this up tonight so that we don't have to watch a potential car crash unfold before our eyes.
