How does Rielly get out-skated to the puck?  He was minus 2 tonight.  And anchored a power play that was awful this series.  And didn?t hit all series (naturally).  Man , it is amazing that he gets a relatively free ride by the media for the Leafs defensive woes, IMHO.

He was great last year, mediocre or worse this time.  He deserves some heat for this.

Gets married and is a dud. I've always liked Morgan but his D sucks and again him QB'ing a PP is a mistake. Only good thing he did was take a team discount but I don't know what the issue is this year. He wasn't good.

When you only score 12 goals in a 7 game series, you can?t expect to win, regardless of goaltending. 1 for 21 on the PP. that?s how you lose a winnable series.

PP was def an issue but so was Sammy. No soft goals, Leafs win the series and it doesn't go 7.

It's both. Swayman was better than Samsonov. Bruins PP was much better than the Leafs. Leafs were hampered by injuries to key players but even with that, their PP should have been a lot more effective. Same old same old.

I did like the level of physical play this year but still gotta score some goals to win.

Yeah, that was a great playoff game.

Funny thing is, the D led the way when we thought they wouldn't.

I hope they keep Edmundson.  He and McCabe and Benoit look like a solid threesome back there.

And credit to Sammy, he played a really good game.

And yet let in another shitty goal and did nothing on the winner...Get out and get it. Glad that's the last of him

And put our fate in the hands of a guy who hasn't demonstrated that we can play a full season?  To be clear, I don't see Samsonov returning but Woll is still a big question mark.  What the hell happened to him anyway?

Woll is a question mark but will be part of the tandem. They need another goalie anyway so it's not a bug deal.  Sammy killed them with shitty goals. Great guy but team killer.

See if you can send Marner to Nashville for Saros or NY for Sorokin.

Woll, as much as I think he?s a pretty good option just doesn?t have that.

McMann & Knies & Dewar helps with cheap LW depth. Robbie needs a centre to play with if we want to use him for his strengths, rather than trying to turn him into a feisty checker that?s too small. It will be an interesting offseason.

I'd like to believe Keefe is gone but until it happens...not holding my breath. But he should be gone just on the basis of the 1 for 21 pp. They can't afford Bertuzzi, he's not worth anything near 6. I'd like to see Domi back. Marner being moved would be a dream. What was up with Rielly...worst playoff series I can remember him playing.
