Leafs deserved the win tonight.  Andersen wasn?t at his best for stretches of the game but did make some really good saves too.

How did they deserve to win?  They were awful defensively.

I?m sorry they suck.  You are a miserable person

I didn't think they could come back down 2 in the 3rd.  Not again.  Wow.

If they scarf up the extra point, double wow.
We'll gladly take 1.
Yep, just to tie was great and shows that they can almost score on willpower.  Once the D gels and it will we will be a force.

I'll wait for your incessant circular logic and post game bitching.

Barrie does not know how to play 2 on 1s

Also, Marner crossing Barrie up at the last second even though Barrie directed him to cover DeAngelo. Barrie should've shaded pass initially anyway, but that was unhelpful either way.

I just said this in the MotM thread but Rielly looked dangerous for the first time in a long time tonight.  Hopefully it's a sign that he's going to get out of the dunk tank.

That is a very open question.

Ic9 never posts when the Leafs are winning and up and in control. Ever notice??  At least Azzuri wears his heart on his sleeve and that is OK with me.

In the last 7 games the leafs have gotten 13 of 14 points.  Really good hockey.  But they have given up 15 goals in the last 3 games.  That?s a problem.  Lucky to be getting points at that rate.

Yeah I'm not sure what Marner was thinking there but Barrie either should've played pass regardless, it didn't look like Marner had enough gas to really challenge the shooter.

Him and Barrie were both very dangerous tonight, which benefitted both teams of course. But I still want them playing like that. Might not be a bad idea to put them back on different pairings though. Especially with Muzzin out.

Not Rielly,  once Sandin is with the team and Barrie and Ceci are gone, I do expect a trade that will be better than what we have.  Lilypad may be an upgrade on Barrie. We will see.  Missed Muzz tonight.

This is a false accusation.  I post every game, regardless of score.  You can go and look.

It's a problem but overall they looked to be the better team. Leafs have to tighten up defensively no question but the Rags had more timely saves and that's all it comes down to really.

Leafs controlled most of the play but Georgiev was better than Andersen. Rielly was very involved but seems unsure once he gets into the offensive zone. Held the puck too long a couple of times. Got a point, could easily have gotten the second. Still need to figure out the defensive zone. Fun game to watch.

Yes.  I might move Marincin up with one of them, actually.

Absolutely. Just need to clean up the gifts. It may be a good thing they lost this one in OT in the long run. Keefe can get on them more about taking care of the puck. Entertaining hockey though so it's a good night because that's why we watch.

Marincin was fine tonight.

Oh, that's what you meant by "gel."  :o :)

I said it earlier and will repeat: he's better than Ceci (and not just defensively, he's got a decent shot and gets it through) and should get more icetime than 83.
