Ranking Prospects 2021-2022

How to say you didn?t read herman?s draft summary without saying you didn?t read herman?s draft summary

There is an update today on PPP about Amirov playing in the KHL.  Its not pretty but it all makes sense, the KHL is not a development league and his team is shooting for the playoffs, loading up on experienced older players like Kulimen.  And things aren't going to change anytime soon.  Yes they can let him play in the VHL for the Olympic break but and I have said it many times, why is one of our top prospects not playing in a true development league, the AHL with our systems and our top development people? I know there are reasons but it wish he was here.

Playing in a European non-developmental league certainly hasn't hurt Topi Niemela. There's no one right way to bring up a prospect.

I think a lot of the hub-bub around Amirov's playing time is a little over blown. He's a 20-year old who despite missing almost 40 games due to an injury is back to playing consistent (albeit bottom-6) minutes in the 2nd best league in the world. It'd be nice obviously if he was playing more and/or scoring more but instead of immediately blaming it on his coaches is it not possible that he's just not playing that well (which lets hope is more related to him coming off a serious injury than anything else).

Topi is getting full time minutes in his league.
Not blaming anyone, just a fact that Amirov is not going to see more than 10-12 minutes a game at that.  The goal he did score was a highlight reel breakaway after taking a long stretch pass and turning on his afterburners.

Lots of (good) Mitch Marner vibes here. Though slight of frame, Voit has athletic stamina and balance and the motor to make use of it all. Sarnia shifted him to centre to get more puck touches and is the lynchpin of their amorphous powerplay.

The kid is 5'10", not exactly a shrimp.  Remember Nylander 4 years ago, they all will put on weight as they hit the early to mid 20's.

I've watched about ten Marlies games this year, when they are on they give me real Syracuse Crunch golden Era vibes. I think there are a handful of real players on this team.

Woah, could be a massive opportunity for Knies.
The experience could be great for his development
