And the Gens just acquired Winnipeg's top prospect Colby Barlow. They'll be serious contenders to win it all this year.

Barlow had requested a trade out of Owen Sound (they weren't slated to contend)
 
Ive seen a few Knights games this year and Cowan doesn't look as dominant as he did last year but I figure it takes some time for him to adjust to the pace of play after being in NHL camp.

The point streak is great but yeah 12 points in 10 games (1.2 PPG) is pretty underwhelming considering his 1.78 PPG rate last season. His regular centre, Denver Barkey, is also off to a slow start with just 1 goal and 8 points in 10 games so far. He had 102 points in 64 games last season.

Knights are still doing fine at least (10-4) but eventually those guys gotta get going.

He's got some wheels, hands, and recently got promoted to the top line. His team is not winning much, but he's
  • tied for the team lead in goals with two games in hand on the leader (got suspended)
  • leading skaters in +/- for whatever that's worth
  • leading the team in shots per game
