Game Notes |
DET -Cam Talbot will start for the Red Wings -Detroit lost their home opener on Thursday by a score of 5-1. The game saw newly acquired starter John Gibson get off to a rough start by allowing 5 goals on just 13 shots, hence why he will not be starting in this game -Former Leaf JVR missed most of Detroit's training camp due to personal reasons. He has recently returned to the team and is getting ready to start the season, but it's unknown if his Red Wings debut will occur Saturday or Monday |
TOR -Anthony Stolarz will start for the Leafs -Toronto kept the same lines at practice on Friday that they had in their season opener. That means it appear as though Easton Cowan will be staying out of the line-up but Berube stressed that's not yet confirmed and his NHL debut is close regardless |
