The concerning play continues. The Leafs weren't bad but they ah ent had a complete game in this month. Not impressed with the starts. Not impressed with the offense. Adjustments needs to happen. The bottom six is a complete waste of space

Does anyone think this would be a wildcard team with league average goaltending?

Woll couldn't do anything about those goals tonight.
 
They seem to have regressed as players have come back into the lineup. Seeing more of those head-scratching defensive zone screw-ups, not a lot but more of them. Team just seems to be in a funk for some reason.

It's OK to ride good goaltending and Lord knows we deserve it but like LK says the bottom 6 is a black hole.
 
Bottom-6 is definitely a black hole. Now that most of the forwards are back they might want to look at spreading the talent over 3 lines. I know that's probably as likely as Nick Robertson getting a chance on the first line though.
 
I wasn't able to watch much of the game but what I did see, I was concerned that the Leafs were usually not connecting with passes and the shots were missing the net. I think I saw Matthews miss 4 shots and then I saw a stat that he missed 8 at that point in the game.

I hope they are learning from this and will be getting better as the season progresses
 
Well didn't watch any of the final 2 periods but sounds like the same story we've been seeing the last couple weeks. I agree with LK doesn't seem this team has played a complete game for a while and the scoring again a concern. See what happens today.
