Eh, if you consider that the market for goaltending is softening and he got exposed a little in the playoffs then honestly I'm maybe a bit surprised he didn't get the same dollar figure over two years but that's about it.

I expected two years $1.5 per, so not surprised I guess. Good on Hammond for turning 30 games into a once in a lifetime pay day. Wouldn't surprise me if he's back in the minors before the contact is done though.

It has to be Lehner they move now, right? Not sure if they even get a 2nd rounder for him at this point though.
