Best goal scorer in the league. There. I said it.

I haven't watched Ovechkin much other than against the Leafs but the way Matthews has diversified his scoring repertoire with the slapper, and then that kind of goal ... nobody else can score in as many different ways as he does.  OK I guess Crosby at his best.

I don't want to take anything away from Stutzle but that's a really bad angle.

That's not a goal an NHL goaltender should give up. Didn't care for him last year and my opinion hasn't changed.

Without Chabot in there I would be giving the top line as many minutes as they want.  God bless Eric Brannstrom and the rest but they can't handle 97/34/16.

The most impressive thing might be how consistent he is. He doesn?t put up big numbers in individual games, he just scores night after night.

Yep.  That said, he'd damn well better get his third hat trick tonight.  Or maybe his second whatever-a-4-goal-night is.

Look how far away from Stutzle the puck is. That is not a normal shooting position to expect anything remotely that hot and accurate to materialize. Should Hutchinson seal up anyway? Yeah, but he did for the expected pot shot flip. The puck went through the only possible opening.

Question: Is there really value to have this "interview" spot where Mark feeds the player a couple of cream puffs?

It gets Mark some much needed airtime. His face needs to be everywhere.

And the rest!

Keep taking JT and WN in my fantasy teams thinking they have to eventually breakout and especially against these sad sack Senators but looks like wrong decision and line again.
