sens @ Leafs - Oct. 2nd, 7:00pm - SN, TSN 1050

The thing I really want to see this year is, like, ok. So the analytics say that the PP's best chance to score is by using 4 forwards and 1 defenseman and trying to set up the cross ice one timer. Great. We've got guys who are good at it.

However, if it looks like the other team has that figured out and is defending it effectively...what's the next move? What are the adjustments we see? Or are we just going to see more of the same the way we did last year?

So was that Timashov headfake

And Sandin looking like a 20 year vet behind the net, patient on the breakout.

I am assuming we see adjustment with the new assistants. Didn't the McFarland really pulled together a good PP in Florida.

Leafs making some really lazy plays.  Not skating hard and generally an apathetic first period.  Turnovers everywhere.

Tavares is so excited he may let his core temperature run a few degrees hotter than usual.

Ya I kinda agree. Sloppy to some extent.
Keep on them the talent should prevail. Hopefully our PK is good cuz definitely be some PP for the Senators coming.

If watching Leafs games this month means having to watch dozens of political ads, I may find myself watching playoff baseball most nights.

So SportsNet introduces a new segment called ?Ask Burkie? via Twitter....and they ask one question.

Lots of promise here.... :o

Have to agree on that one though.  That's the first time I saw the video on the Evander Kane thing and why is the linesman allowed to chase Kane down and tackle him but he gives him a quick shove and is the one who gets punished in that scenario.

It?s just Coach?s Corner without the overt bigotry.

Try this...(slightly more entertaining than the average baseball game)

I've got to say I hate watching hockey on TV now.

Hughson and Simpson just suck the fun out of any game.

Then you've got Marek and Friedman. Something about them always comes across as condescending to me.

No fun!

I just put the game on mute now and listen to music.

Man that would have been nice for Nylander to convert on that chance.  He could use a fast start.
