sens @ Maple Leafs - Mar. 15th, 7:00pm - SN, TSN 1050

The D has regressed. McCabe is having a tough run of games. OEL wasn't great either, and Morgan is vying with Matthews for Most Disappointing Season.

This game did nothing to make me feel better about this team's chances. Going to take a few games off, just not really enjoyable to watch this right now.

This does nothing one way or the other for me. Playoffs are a different animal and they'll be ready. Biggest issue lately has been both goalies have not been great and are letting in weak ones. We've only got 1 really good performance and that was Woll against Utah.

On the bright side, Shanahan will be fired and they'll finally break up the core 4 years too late
Guys..... the management/ownership will be groveling to get Marner to re-sign. Nothing changes.

Leafs sucked and they extended Dubas!!! (until he tried to oust Shanahan).

Management and ownership have loser mentality.

From the get go, Berube has preached consistent effort to defend hard, go north fast, forecheck hard to generate mistakes because that’s where most goals come from when there is no space.

The roster is still only halfway there, still trying to tactician their way through the OZ, when they need to be just a bit more desperate than their opponent. Puck skills matters very little until you have the puck, and they need to develop their getting the puck attitude.

It's been all year. They either don't get it or can't play it. Dump ins while doing partial line changes so the forecheck is outnumbered leading to turnovers and quick transition back into the Leafs zone. I don't see how that's a system. It's just turnovers for the sake of it.

I don't understand how NHL players don't know that dump ins require an aggressive forecheck to be successful. The Leafs are too slow getting to the puck consistently
