There are players we can see do it most of the time, and I’ve seen basically every skater have moments where they manage to string it together. It’s just sometimes (most of the time) a whole line or two doesn’t want to start a game that way.It's been all year. They either don't get it or can't play it. Dump ins while doing partial line changes so the forecheck is outnumbered leading to turnovers and quick transition back into the Leafs zone. I don't see how that's a system. It's just turnovers for the sake of it.
I don't understand how NHL players don't know that dump ins require an aggressive forecheck to be successful. The Leafs are too slow getting to the puck consistently
