Just a further thought in these slow months. If you have ever attended a hockey game in Tampa there is always a lot more fans for the teams that show up than the Lightning (pretty much the same in Phoenix), so you sit in the stands a look out at a sea of Kessel, Lupul and other Leaf sweaters and wonder what it would be like to be a TBL player, always like a sideshow act.
I would think Stamkos will salivate at the prospect of playing for the Leafs in two years when their new team has gelled into something. To be the big star in T.O. Not that far fetched.
