I've been critical of Kadri offensively but to me he looks like he's going to bust out soon.
 
Stars have Seguin lining up as a defenceman for the point shot on an offensive zone faceoff 5-on-5. You don't see that everyday.

I always wondered if teams would opt for a 2-minute penalty instead of a penalty shot at times. Nichushkin's not bad, but you gotta think Dallas would have been more confident with a PP unit of Seguin, Benn, Sharp, Spezza, and Klingberg.
 
I just got back to watch this and Kadri treats me to two power plays by skating into traffic and hanging onto the puck.
 
Is Carlyle back behind the bench tonight? Leafs are winning but Dallas is way ahead in possession and shots.

Well, I guess the math would be whether or not Nichushkin is above 20% or so in a shootout. Also, I imagine, whether a team is ahead or behind would factor into the decision as well.
