Looking at their respective careers, Francisco would be a downgrade on Lind. He's been decent while filling in for him, but, it's unlikely he'll be able to keep it up. He's more of a platoon guy than an every day guy. As for what kind of return the Jays could get for Lind . . . I wouldn't expect to get anyone worthwhile in terms of MLB ready guys. They might be able to snag a quality prospect or two for him, but, at best, he brings back a back of the rotation type - and he's more valuable to the team than that. If the team decides to blow things up, trading Lind and using Fransisco is obviously something they have to consider, but, with the AL East being so close right now, the smarter move is probably holding on to Lind and hoping a couple of the starters find their way.
