TSNBobMcKenzie: Korshkov, BTW, is a 19 year old who wasn't drafted last year. Played very well at the WJC. Could be pro ready sooner rather than later.

He's also under contract until the end of the 2018 season with the KHL.  So I'm not sure that 21 is all that impressive for being pro-ready.

The impression I'm getting is that teams have such different reads on things that there may not be a ton of interest in moving around, because teams aren't all that concerned about the player they want being taken or they have a number of players they value equally and are happy getting any of them.
 
8 points in 7 games at the WJC if I'm reading this right.

Honestly, with 2nd round picks we're not going to have great reads on any of these guys right off the bat.

That makes some sense, Shanahan's cadre of Russian contacts probably helped.
