The Official Complaint Thread!

My youngest daughter has had the same cough for 3 weeks now. Doctor has gone as far as to give her an asthma pump in hopes that helps clear it up.

Man its one thing for a parent to be sick but I can't imagine how it must feel to have a child be sick (no kids yet!). Best wishes to your daughter. Hopefully she's nearing the end of her cough.

She goes up and down. Just when we think it's done, it starts up.

The doctor said there's a strain of the whooping cough going around and figures that what she caught.

Thanks for the wishes though. She's a trooper though. Hasn't missed a day of school or a hockey practice(actually, she refused missing hockey because it would be 'wasting her ice time'...her words, not mine)

oh lord that is so NOT fun :-( ...... get a humidifier for your bedroom, that seems to help a little.  Hope you're better for Christmas!

So you did have the same thing as my daughter...man, sounds like a lot worse though.

The puffer she got really worked. Cleared it up in 3 days.

I really like the song though.

By miles my favorite Christmas song. Rounding out my top three have to be Adam Sandler's Hanukkah Song and Bob and Doug Mckenzie's 12 Days of Christmas... I mean, I challenge anybody to argue with a beer in a tree.

Always tough to see a co-worker go down with chest pains and the ambulance race him away... Really sucks two weeks before Christmas.

Gotta love beer in a tree! I also like I Won't be Home for Christmas from Blink-182 ahaha.

Yeah, definitely. I'm on the first aid team at work and it really does suck seeing people suffer on the job. Luckily I haven't seen too much, I'm usually the guy flagging the ambulance in.

Hopefully your co-worker is OK.

I want to sleep in the bath. It felt so much better to just stay in there. Maybe I'll have to find the old humidifier after all.

Well I'm wheezing now and puffers aren't doing much. This is by far the worst illness I've ever had. I've been sick for a month solid and this damn thing isn't letting up. I've been taking Advil extra strength like candy. I had bronchitis before and puffers always helped, so its weird that nothing is improving really.

I kind of want to be admitted to a hospital at this point but I wonder if that will do anything at all. Ugh.

Man, that sucks... Sounds like you need to shut everything down, bite the bullet and go. Health first, you know? Screw the holidays if you need to.

I just don't think I'm bad enough to be admitted, you know? Its bad, I can barely sleep but I'm more or less stable in how bad it is for the last 2 weeks. I really don't know what to do. Doc gave me the all the front line treatments and nothing. This is by far the most frustrating experience I've had.
