That one didn't faze me much, fwiw.

Yeah, the big gay sex orgy pile wasn't really all that disturbing. It was more non-sensical and ridiculous. It certainly wasn't on the same "hard to watch" level as crack babies, graphic sex change surgery, headless Britney Spears, masturbating security guy, etc.

New Community tonight.

Wacky and weird as usual. Not the best for a re-start.

I actually thought it was one of the most "normal" episodes they've done in a while. Also, giving the people who wanted it back, talked it up and made it what it is what they want is a bad thing now? Clearly, the viewing public disagrees.

Yet, it was a huge ratings success for NBC, and by all accounts, one of the better episodes this season.

I loved it.

Huge ratings success is probably a bit of an exaggeration. A 2.2 demo is good and everything but they still came in 3rd in terms of viewers and that was on a night where they weren't going up against the Big Bang Theory.

Well, success being a relative term, for NBC, it was a pretty big deal:

TVline.com reported Friday morning that the March 15 episode delivered 4.9 million total viewers and a key demographic rating of 2.2 ? in other words, whopping increases of 36% and 47% respectively over the series? most recent new episode, which aired Dec. 8. The numbers also marked an astounding 14-month demographic high (not including sports, naturally) for the still-struggling peacock network.

Yeah, well, "success for NBC" is it's own special category.

And, like I said, it was a good night competition wise. CBS had the tournament which is going to drive sitcom viewers away to the only other sitcom on.

I'm looking forward to next season.  The prison & governor were my favourite parts of the comic.

We'll have to see what they do with it though.  About half of what happens in the comics really can't be put on TV.

Don't worry, they will find another Chelsea Handler show to replace it before next season.  :)

Easily the best stuff in the books.  After that, it actually kinda dries up a bit- still good stuff, but nowhere near as entertaining as the ~30-40ish issues in the prison.

Badass.

The Ricktatorship has begun
I don't understand Rick's wife reaction, if she's that upset then maybe she should take Rick's offer and try it on her own! Anyone familiar with the comics can give me a hint as to what that was in the forrest with two armless walkers on the chains?
