Was he really asking the folks in the platinums to get back to their seats for the beginning of each period? If so, love, love, LOVE this guy.

Apparently he wasn't back until the 11:00 mark of the 2nd period in the home opener....

Watching the introduction of the players for Saturday's home opener, I did wonder how much influence Leiweke had over it.  I thought it was the best one as long as I can remember.  Things like that giant Leaf the players skated through that acted as a video board as well as the choice of music (hopefully it's just the beginning of altering the music choices at the ACC) went a long way I thought.

There was a report that he was helping a lady who got hit with a puck.

I don't get why people care how others chose to enjoy going to a game.

I guess it's because some of them are choosing to NOT enjoy the game... and it looks bad.

?(The wall) really is showing a piece of the ACC?s history so that fans can see some of the significant achievements in the building,? said Wayne Zronik, vice-president of live entertainment for the ACC.

Get with it, Nik.  When you are a building, like the ACC, it's hard to imagine a more significant achievement than having Bon Jovi booked into yourself.
