I haven't minded Dupuis so far, decent combination of skills.

I'm sort of unimpressed so far with him... Just plain "blah."

My expectations were less than that, so far so good as a 4th liner 13th forward.

I guess... He hasn't done anything special in my mind though. At the same time, I haven't seen anything bone-head-ish so...

He made a couple of very nice set ups, he back checks, he plays a responsible game, can PK, block shots. From what I see he's almost everything you'd want in a fourth liner.

He got half a dozen good scoring chances last night, basically on his own. Were you not watching the game?

Yes I have been watching. Chances are great, but you don't get any points or win games with chances.

Is getting a lot of chances indicative of a player you need to ask the whereabouts of?

It's preseason, he's coming off back to back 30 goal seasons, so really no need to ask where Phil Kessel is until the games matter.

Fixed that for you.  8)

Wow, Rosehill beat out Boyce for a roster spot, interesting.

It is but also is not surprising in a way simply on Boyce' camp. His nose might be bugging him too, poor guy, that has to suck after what happened last year.

One other note, with Gardiner and Frattin the Leafs choose to use an additional 880k-ish in cap space over Boyce and Aulie.
