He brings a pretty complete game also. I have him instead of Kadri at this point, if it's between them.

Yeah, he's a much safer bet imo. He works hard, gets a few points, and, most importantly, doesn't fall from a gust of wind.
 
If its up to me, Frattin got it.

Kadri steped up his game, but Frattin is overplaying him in the preseason and looks like a better 3rd line fit.
 
TSNBobMcKenzie: TOR's Nazem Kadri has knee sprain, not practising this morning. Going for an MRI. Not thought to be be too serious but MRI will tell tale.
 
... and if Frattin gets the job over Kadri (and he might) queue the idiots in the media and some fans piping up on how Kadri is such a bust.  ::)  It'll ba all about the flaws in Kadri's game as opposed to the good things of Frattin's.

He didn't look to be suffering last night... I wouldn't suspect anything serious... at least I hope.

I would have to agree with you, but I like them both. Frattin looks better for the third line right now. I would rather keep Kadri up than someone like Philippe Dupuis. 4th line minutes aren't the greatest but Kadri could do some damage with a 4th line of Mike Brown and Lombardi if Matthew makes it back soon.

It sucks that as soon as the rosters are getting close to set, that there are these injuries so it makes it more difficult to get full practices in before the season/get chemistry.
 
TSNBobMcKenzie:  Hearing Maple Leaf Nazem Kadri's knee injury will sideline him for three to four weeks. Official word expected from TOR in the morning.


So I guess Frattin will be in starting lineup.
