Thank you, at 10PM last night I took my dog out for his business and there was a wind coming up the road, it was like a blast furnace, 100F at 10PM.  Needless to say I don't want to see my next electric bill as the A/C is running 20 hours a day.  So staying in, watching a lot of Wimbledon, Euro Cup soccer, Blue Jays and Stanley Cup.  At least the TV sports is great, as you can't go outside for more than a few minutes.
Some of the sidewalks are buckling in town.
Just pray the A/C and power keep working.  It should relent a bit after today.

Without A/C it would be hell.  I feel for all the people dying, who either don't have an A/C or can't afford one, or afford to run it if the have one. 
Luckily BC hydro prices are very very low compared to Ontario.  The have a massive amount of hydro dams all over the place so it is a lot cheaper here power wise. Makes up for some of the other high priced things that B (bring) C (cash) is known for.

Man, as a Leafs fan I really hate seeing other people going through that pain we know so well. Tough break, England.

Makes you kind of wonder though, what would have been more painful; what happened to the Leafs or, say, if they'd gone as far as Montreal.

It's crazy, because it looked like things were going to break England's way, but then they hit a post, and the Italy  keeper makes an amazing save.

I think losing always sings and fans tend to rationalize it in different ways.  If the Leafs had lost in the finals I think the feeling would have been that there had been progress and that it looks like the core is capable of taking the team to that point, where as right now there are fans that want to break up the team and make some trades.

Like the shoehorning of socialism right at the end. Was wondering where it was going to land.
 
It really has become another of those terms the GOP can run out to stir up their base, even though they can't define it accurately in the slightest. CRT, socialism, communism, etc. . . . the list just keeps growing the more they elect ignorant people like MTG.

It?s code tacked onto the end of tweet urls on mobile. The board?s tweet plug-in ignores it so it appears after someone shares a tweet on mobile without clearing it before posting.
