Useless Thread

The Newfie Sunday dinner better known as Jigg's Dinner is often followed on Monday by a combined leftover meal called Hash.  It puts the potatoes, turnip, cabbage and such in a frying pan and mashing them together.  It is literally a to-die-for meal.
 
Newfie hash comes in 2 types.  The kind you and Grandma have on monday after Jigg's dinner and the kind you and Grandpa have on Saturday night to get ready for Jigg's dinner!!!  I believe Saturday's is very similar to the kind you are looking for??

I just picked up the new Tim Horton's x-large 24oz coffee cup.  This thing is massive, I feel like I'm overcompensating for something.  :-\

Same size as the Starbucks Venti, Starbucks is coming out with a new size in May in the US, a Trenta, 31 oz's :|

Same size as the Starbucks Venti, Starbucks is coming out with a new size in May in the US, a Trenta, 31 oz's :|

Isn't the Starbucks venti only 20oz?  Hence the "venti"?

2) Starbucks is weird. Their hot drink cup is 20oz, while their cold drink cup is 24oz. I go there often 'cause I have friends who work there who get me free stuff :P

24 ounces of an iced passion tea lemonade, yum :) Starbucks already has the Trenta size in the US for cold beverages. No word on when it will land north of the border. I went to Tim's today and almost ordered the new XL. Thankfully, I remembered the changes before I got to the counter.
