The Sedins each passed Naslund on the Canucks' all-time scoring list in their 905th game.

That's unreal.

Unless I'm missing something, Naslund had 756 career points as a Canuck, this doesn't seem to impressive to me... unless I'm missing something, I'm not sure what's unreal about this.

I think the fact that they, as twins, both passed him in 905 games is the unreal part.

Looks like we can just about write off the Jets. 1 point back of the sens and Rangers with 1 game to play, while the others have 2, and I can't see them both losing both. Too bad they couldn't have at least made it to OT with the Caps. Hopefully they beat the Habs to finish up.

You mean they both got the point to pass him in their 905th game respectively?

I believe that is what Peter is saying

Yeah, they both beat it in exactly 905 games.

*Edit*

Yeah I just checked Henriks game logs on NHL and he got the needed points Feb 15th which was his 905th game. Crazy...

Also they both did it on a two point game if you're looking into further coincidences.

pens up 2-0 over sens after 2 ...i have to say..i get on cbc announcers/ tsn/sportsnet.. etc ..but they're really much much better than the ones they have calling the game from pittsburgh ...these guys are 100% homers

The thing is, the guys from Pittsburgh have every right to be homers..They're essentially employed by the team. No Pens, No Job.

The guys from CBC/TSN are doing national broadcasts and should be as neutral as possible.

by that logic ..so does bowen on leaf's tv ..however..despite him being rather biased toward the leafs...he still sounds excited when the other team scores..they don't just completely gut the play by waiting for the goal..and then afterward in a voice reserved checking if ferris bueller has made it to class..informs you that the team has scored...

just seems unprofessional to me

Yes Bowen does. I just think Bowen is one of the better local team announcers out there and knows how to keep his personal emotions in tact, most of the time. If you listen to Jack Edwards in Boston, or the guys down in Carolina your head will hurt when you're done.

I'd be anxious to hear how Bowen would call the Stanley Cup winning goal by the Leafs in OT.

Dennis Beyak is also good...gets excited for other team goals.

And they were also born on the same day. :P

He scores the winning goal to put the Rangers on the brink of missing the playoffs?

I want to see all three of them on the same line.

And in a couple years they might have their other brother coming in FA too. That would be an interesting team to watch. Maybe mad chemistry like with the Sedins.

At the start of a regular-season OT period, the coach could just say "Staal, get out there!".  :D

Like the Stastneys!

In the several times I watched Jared, I was never impressed with him. He seemed to have an attitude and you never knew which guy was showing up to play. His skating was lacking as well.
