2016 NHL Draft Lottery

Yes, apparently he wasn't noticeable before despite being 6'6".

Yup. And, as much as you can't teach size, part of me wonders how much of his junior success comes from simply being that much bigger and stronger than the competition. That advantage won't be as significant at the NHL level. Guys that size who aren't seen as likely top 3-5 picks worry me a little. It seems like they very rarely meet expectations.

So you're not on board with going off the board at 4?  I'll let Craig know.  :)

The only shining light is that we have Lou on our side now. If the Leafs don't win the first lottery he'll just tell Bettman to run it again.

Why do I think that little pile of vile crap will make sure we don't get the first pick, and one of his pet teams do. I can not wait until that guy is done running the NHL.

teams I don't mind winning: cbus, winterpeg, az, Colorado, NJ, Carolina.

anyone else not in Toronto I will be PISSED!!!!!

lol

Regardless of what happens, we are still going to get on hell of a hockey player

Yeah, but it still hurts to finish dead last for the first time in forever, and possibly end up picking 4th in the draft. Essentially, b#*ch slapped.

You really think Bettman and co enjoy watching the Oilers win the lottery?  If any lottery should have been fixed it was last year with McDavid, there's no way the NHL wanted to see a guy like that go to a market like Edmonton.
