Tomorrow I think we may see both Lehtonen and Barabanov or Engvall moved to the active roster and Brooks and Anderson back down. Of course if Thornton is long term and goes on LTIR, they could use all 3. They could still go 11F, 7D and sit out 1 forward if they choose to. I think they have to keep playing Lehtonen and get him up to speed. I haven't been too impressed with Demott yet.
We'll see what happens to Joe soon.
 
Damn.  We are falling apart.  Even though it's a small cap hit I'm assuming Thornton will go to LTIR as well?

Just plugging the names into CF and for Barabanov, Brooks, and Engvall to all be able to play tonight like Keefe said they would Thornton would need to go on LTIR, yeah.

If he does it will allow them to keep Barabanov, Lehtonen and Engvall on the active roster so they could sit a D man or forward if they go 11F, 7D. If he doesn't obviously only 2 can be on it.

Just saw the line up...you are correct, Joe has to go on LTIR.
 
Thornton officially on LTIR. Leafs will have some flexibility, too bad Auston is out tonight. Funny thing, if they would have used LTIR right away with Robertson, they could have kept Dell. Let's hope they don't get to that point.
 
For the record, since for some reason people keep saying this, I?m NOT mostlyleafies. We are both just someone whose sick of Willy being criticized by people who know nothing about the game of hockey.

If there's a forward version of Dermott floating around (preferably one that is expansion draft exempt), the Leafs should be exploring making a swap there.

Might not be a bad idea.  He makes slightly more than Barabanov who hasn't really impressed that much.  Ennis might be motivated coming back.
