It's the 16th highest cap hit for a Defenseman in the league coming off a season where I think a lot of people saw him maybe be exposed a little bit as a bit of a one-way defenseman. Obviously with a contract for a young guy you're investing in his growth but I think that sort of downturn is the reason you get him for a little bit less than the Heiskanen-Chabot-Makar deals.
