I mean I would love to have Foegele and Bear didn't really have a great year last year but if this is just to have Edmonton have Barrie-Ceci on their blueline...LOL.

Also, apparently, a money thing for Carolina, as Foegele is arbitration eligible.

It's funny for both teams. Carolina "replacing" Hamilton with Bear because Foegele is an arbitration threat. Edmonton moving a promising young D to make room for Ceci.

I think moving Bear is a mistake...return is pretty good though.
 
Edmonton does desperately need the depth up front, but I'm not sure Foegele moves the needle for them all that much.

It's very strange to compare last offseason where teams seemed uncharacteristically frugal because of the flat cap to this one where the cap still remained the same.
