Columbus already has 37 shots on net? How the heck?

All we hear is how the Leafs D needs addressing. It's not the D it's the forwards that are out of position so often and we give up tons of shots and chances. I know we can improve the D by sitting Polak but the forwards have to do a better job in their own end.

5-on-5 numbers with ice-time and shots on net against while on the ice:

Polak        12:24    19
Zaitsev      13:19    17
Dermott    13:48    15
Rielly        12:42    13
Hainsey    10:22    5

Impressive for Hainsey.

Bump his ice time up in the 3rd to fill in for Gardiner?  It's not like Columbus is a speed team so maybe he could handle it.

Plus it's their second night of a B2B so hopefully the Leafs can keep the pressure on more than they have the first 2.

Everybody on Sportsnet: We don't want to speculate, but it's obvious Gardiner's injury is to his hand

TSN announcers lol. "If the Blue Jackets hit 50 shots". Sitting at 46 with 15 minutes left. probably going to hit 60.
