Crosby returns from concussion - UPDATE 12/12: Symptoms return

Crosby up to 3 points now. The Crosby Broadcasting Corporation is in full swing. Glenn Healey, Hughson, Simpson just can't stop talking about him. Not even calling the game, just Crosby.

I think an argument can be made for that though. Last year Crosby was on pace for 132 points, which would have led the league by 28. Best as I can tell the only two guys in history to lead the league by bigger margins are Lemieux and Gretzky. Not Orr, not Lafleur, not Jagr or Hull or whoever.

I can't think of anyone in the NHL who is close, it used to be Ovechkin and Crosby and then everyone else.

Before the injury, Sid separated himself from Ovechkin IMO.

He is the reason the game is on tv, he is the reason people are watching, and he has produced so of course they are going to talk about him.

Meh, it's true though. No one is watching the game to see anyone but Crosby so of course they're going to mostly just focus on him.
 
So the real reason Crosby was out past when some thought he was ready was to shoot 'comeback' commercials... ;)
 
Over/under on games is take for him to surpass Ovechkin in points?

His one assist tonight brings him up to 15 points.
 
Been watching bits and pieces of the game. That first goal was a beauty. Hockey is always better when a player of Crosby's talent level is playing.
 
So...first star of the night? I'm thinking some people here really think it should be Pascal Dupuis.
 
Here's an interesting one. After one game Crosby is only a goal behind Ilya Kovalchuk.

The Isles' goalie was playing in his 9th professional game in North America. Crosby was definitely placed in prime position to succeed by his team and his opponents.
