Ducks @ Leafs - Feb. 4th, 7:00pm - TSN4, TSN 1050
Marner shouldn't get more then Kucherov because he isn't as good as him. So 10 should be absolute tops.
Tavares isn't better than Stamkos but got significantly more than he did. Doughty isn't better than Hedman but got way more than he did.

That's not how contracts work.

That's just great, Andreas.  Now I have to think hard about whether you or 8 is getting my MotM.

That was bad defense.  Don?t let this slip away.
Hey Ic9, again, why can't you see that the sky isn't falling all the time, the Leafs dominated tonight and can dominate a lot of games now that we finally have a shut down D man,  Muzzin is the real deal and exactly what we needed. Nylander had a good game and perhaps gets a monkey off his back. Thought Rielly, Freddie, and most of all Johnsson had great games.  Have to say, if they needed to do a must do trade tomorrow and had to give up Kapi or Andres, I would give up Kapi.  I love him but Johnsson has more finish, a better all round game, more vision etc.  Hope we can keep both.  The D is coming soon. Half way there.

The Ducks look just like the Leafs did under Carlyle. They try not to lose the game early but inevitably fall behind. They have a little push back but it's not enough and eventually the weight of always playing from behind is just too much for them.

Carlyle is a dinosaur. I'd be surprised if he ever gets another NHL coaching job.

Carlyle is an easy target in these parts, but to coach for 13 seasons and 800+ games and win a cup in the NHL, he doesn't need to prove much.

I bet his is fired tonight so he can drive home to Sudbury, only 4 hours up the road.  I love Randy but he is a Brontosaurus, remember when he had long flowing golden locks when he started with us. Bourdreau is not far behind him, perhaps they can share fishing boat and reminisce about when they were the Leaf D men

You are right and respect, I met Randy on a drive by photo op at Blue a few years back, my wife and Randy had a great shot. He had fun with it and is a nice guy, but this new NHL is not the one that most of these coaches grew up with, so I can see even a good coach getting lost in the speed machine.

I didn?t get to watch, but I?m looking at the scoresheet and the NST tables and man do I sort of feel bad for the Ducks that aren?t Corey Perry.

Dial up Muzzin's hit on your pal Perry.  It were lovely.

Hey Ic9 don't mean to bust you but we can't play this thing out goal by goal or even game by game.  What we have in this team is a revelation for Leaf fans and if all the horses are harnessed at the same time then watch out.  you said a lot of positive things in retrospect, I know it is hard to be a Leaf fan and that we all want the best, but sometimes its just best to get out of the way, keep the faith and let it happen.

Oh and where was Azzuri tonight?  I guess they weren't playing bad enough for him to comment.
